Barrie Public
Library is traditionally a community facilitator and, as such, we
are excited to be able to include other local charities and non-profits
in the fund-raising opportunities available through the Barrie Dragon
Boat Festival.

| If you wish to support a charity other than
Barrie Public Library through your team pledges at the Barrie Dragon
Boat Festival you are welcome to do so. Please note that when you
register your dragon boat team, you must specify which organisation
will be the recipient of your pledges, and that organisation must
be a registered charity or non-profit. Every dragon boat team registering
in the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival must bring a minimum of $500
in pledges to the charity that you choose to support. |

When you register to support Barrie Public
Library charitable tax receipts will be issued for donations of
$10 or more. Please check with your charity of choice for their
own policy regarding pledges.
